Changsha, the capital of Hunan Province, was named central China's top commercial city, according to a list released by Forbes Saturday. Changsha was followed by Wuhan, capital of Hubei Province.
There are six provinces in China's central region: Shanxi, Anhui, Jiangxi, Henan, Hubei and Hunan provinces.
According to Forbes, cities in central China have a strong advantage when it comes to cheap operating costs however, they lack spending power compared to other areas in China.
