FAW-Volkswagen Automotive Co will recall 1,633 imported Audi Q5 3.2 FSI Quattro cars in China from August 7 due to faulty skylight, the company said over the weekend.
According to FAW-Volkswagen, the recall covers vehicles manufactured from June 21 to December 7, 2011.
Due to the problems associated with glass suppliers, some of the vehicles' skylight glasses may burst in extreme cold weather or low temperature conditions.
FAW-Volkswagen said it will provide free replacement of skylight glasses, in order to eliminate safety concerns.
