Revenue of state-owned enterprise increase 11 percent in 2012

According to the latest data released by the ministry of finance, state-owned and state-controlled enterprises have achieved gross revenue of more than 42.3 trillion yuan in 2012, a year-on-year increase of 11 percent; the total profit reached 2.2 trillion yuan, a decline of 5.8 percent from last year.

The gross revenue, total profit, and tax payable of state-owned enterprises realized increase in November and December for two continuous months.

From the viewpoint of profit situation, some industries, including power industry, tobacco industry, post and telecommunication industry, realized large increase rate. But industries underwent large reduce rate included chemical industry, nonferrous metal industry, traffic industry, building material industry and coal industry, etc.
