1st unit of Haiyang Nuclear Power Plant completes civil construction

The first unit of the Haiyang Nuclear Power Plant, which will be installed with the third generation of nuclear power technology, the AP1000, has seen completion of its civil construction on March 29. The unit is planned to come into stream at the end of 2014 with annual generation capacity of 17.5 billion Kwh. (Xinhua/Li Ziheng)
