100-yuan counterfeit RMB notes starting with the C1F9 serial number was recently discovered in Yi Nan county of East China’s Shandong province, Xinhua reported Sunday. Local bank employees said the bills were made with sophistication, and one can hardly recognize them with eyes alone.
Police asked consumers to be cautious about the money they receive bearing the C1F9 number, and to report all fake money to the local police once discovered.
