BYD opens North American HQ in Los Angeles

Chinese automaker BYD Company, Ltd. launched an opening ceremony for its North American headquarters in Los Angeles, California on Oct. 24.

Wang Chuanfu, the president of BYD Company, Ltd., said that because its abundant renewable energy sources and the great support of local governments, BYD selected Los Angeles as its headquarters in North America.

BYD's investment will create more jobs for the local people and will promote economic development in Los Angeles and United States.
