Chinese Li Na reaches U.S. Open quarters

Fifth-seeded Li Na from China reached the U.S. Open quarter-finals on Sunday after beating Serbian ninth seed Jelena Jankovic 6-3, 6-0.

The 2011 French Open champion will take on Russian 24th seed Ekaterina Makarova, who beat third seed Agnieszka Radwanska from Poland 6-4, 6-4.
