China takes responsible attitude towards Syrian people

The bloody conflict in Syria has brought suffering to the Syrian people, and posed a severe challenge to the international community.

All acts of violence against innocent civilians should be condemned. The international community should make its stance clear, and take swift and effective action to immediately and fully end all acts of violence in Syria.

Rationality and calmness are definitely needed to accomplish the urgent task of ending bloody conflict in the country. Military intervention and forced regime change violate the Charter of the United Nations, and are not the right solution. They will not only complicate the Syrian crisis, but also break the basic norms governing international relations.

China has taken a responsible attitude towards the Syrian people, and made practical efforts to restore peace and stability in the Middle East, setting an example that other countries should follow.

JJ at 2012-02-21124.82.102.*: Both Syrian and Iran needs China"s help to maintain peace and stability, China"s policy has been non-interference on other"s internal politics, but to assist Iran and Syrian by talking to the other super powers dioes not menas interference, it just involvement in world peace mission and ensuring the interest of China is very much protected with out hurting anybody. Iran isuues is very cruscial to many countries including uS and Europe,but the US arms producers may want a different sinario than peace. It is time for China get involve in international peace , as it is inevitable and improbable for China to escape and shy away now. China is a super power now, whether you like it or not.

China has to remember that, like it or not but Pakistan is a Muslim country, and Pakistan is the only friend that China can trust through all thick and thin, and there are all indications that USA is going to hit Pakistan after Iran. Pakistan is a very large country, with a nuclear arsenal, and 200 million population. After Pakistan China will only be left with poxy North Korea, and North Korea will not be able to stand beside China for a single day against USA, European Union, Japan, India, and South Korea. And China is not Russia, that has a nuclear arsenal big enough to destroy the whole world in half an hour, so if Russia won"t have peace in the world according to what suits the free world, Russia won"t leave anything for anybody else in the world either. So unless China wants to build a nuclear arsenal that can match USA and Russia; China should seriously try and help Iran because there are solid indications that USA is going to hit Islamic Republic of Pakistan after the Islamic Republic of Iran.
