A France girl's life with Chinese kung fu and Taiji

Twenty-seven-year-old Marlène Martin from Bordeaux of France loves Chinese kung fu and Taiji. She was so in love with Taiji that she came to Yantai of China's Shandong Province to learn it in July 2008. Two Years later, on her third trip to Yantai, she became a students of local Taiji master Zhang Hongmei. In August, 2011, in order to live in Yantai and learn Taiji for a long time, Marlène quit her job in France, came to Yantai for the fourth time and found a job as a teacher at an university in the city. She learns every detail of Taiji from her master. "Before learning Taiji, I was hot-tempered," Marlène said, "and now I feel peaceful and energetic, for Taiji helps one to focus." Marlène wishes that during the upcoming Christmas, her family members would come to visit China and feel the Chinese culture.
