Headaches mean thirstiness, farting means comfort, and stomach cramps mean need to take deep breath
Taiwanese magazine Common Health recently published an article explaining the "meanings" of various body reactions.
First, farting means comfort. Farting is one of the most embarrassing things during exercises. Huang Yiwen, the doctor-in-charge at Taiwan-based Cathay General Hospital's liver center, said that movements of intestines and stomach during exercises can lead to farting and sometimes hiccupping, which are normal body reactions to expel waste air. Due to lack of exercises, and aged intestines and stomach, old people tend to accumulate air inside their body, and thus release air more often during exercises than young people. They should not feel embarrassed about farting, and should do more exercise and walk at least 5,000 steps each day.
