In southeastern part of China's Anhui province, under the foot of the renowned Huangshan Mountain, locates a famous historical and cultural place – Shexian county.

Firstly built about 2,000 years ago, Shexian county used to be a cultural center during the Sui and Tang dynasties and a commercial center during the Ming and Qing dynasties.

Surrounded by green mountains and crystal water, it is rich in cultural relics, residences, ancestral temples, and ancient arches. It is considered as an art museum of classical Hui style architecture.
