Wang Cheng was born in Chengdu, Sichuan province in 1974. In 2004, he was diagnosed with a personality disorder and hospitalized for three months.

After successful treatment he went to a Chengdu job training center and works in a beauty workshop affiliated to the center.

He finds the work interesting and it allows him to meet many people.
