Care center provides service for disabled people in S China

Disabled people are helped to go to bed for noon break at a care center in Guangzhou, south China's Guangdong Province, Aug. 30, 2011. The care center provides service for 39 seriously disabled people, with government offering subsidies of 2,300 yuan (1 US dollar=6.37 yuan) per person per month. Families only need to pay 1,100 yuan, or 500 yuan if as low-income families, to support the center's operation. Altogether the central government has input 600 million yuan in the past three years to build a service system caring the disabled people in the country. (Xinhua/Chen Yehua)
