Luo Huining appointed Qinghai Party chief

BEIJING, March 19 (Xinhua) -- Luo Huining has been appointed secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) of northwest China's Qinghai Province, replacing Qiang Wei, the CPC Central Committee said in a statement Tuesday.

Luo, 58, has served as the governor of Qinghai before the new appointment.
