HEFEI, Sept. 26 -- A former vice governor of east China's Anhui Province has resigned from the provincial legislature, amid allegations of disciplinary violations, the local legislature announced on Thursday.
The Standing Committee of Anhui Provincial People's Congress announced the resignation of Ni Fake from the 12th Anhui Provincial People's Congress has been approved.
Ni was vice governor of Anhui between 2008 and January, 2013 and is under investigations for "serious disciplinary violations."
