PLA helicopter unit open its door to media.

The 4th Helicopter Regiment of the PLA Army Aviation hosted 160 Chinese and overseas journalists.

It is the fifth time that the media have been allowed to view PLA units prior to the Army Day, falling on Aug. 1, since 2008.

Journalists observed equipment, including China-made Z-9WZ armed helicopters and a Russian Mil Mi-171 transport helicopter. They later watched an air show.
