The first series of books on Chinese Army officially unveiled at the Beijing International Book Fair on Aug. 31, 2012.
Chen Zhou, director of the Research Center of China's national defense policy of the Academy of Military Science attended the conference.
The Series of Chinese Army written by PLA military experts provide concise and lively text, invaluable pictures, displaying a multi-angle, multi-level view of the historical context of the state of the development of the People's Liberation Army, providing readers with vivid answers.
There are three books in the first series of books on the Chinese armed forces, namely "The People's Liberation Army", "The PLA Navy", and "The PLA Air Force"; the second series of three is "The PLA Aviation Corps, "The PLA Marines," and "The PLA Airborne Force". The third series contains four volumes: "The Chinese Naval Escorts in Aden Gulf", "Chinese Peacekeepers Overseas", "The Chinese Army and International Security Cooperation", "The Chinese Army and Humanitarian Relief".
The Series of Chinese Army have six versions in six languages including Chinese, English, French, Spanish, Russian and Arabic. The entire project started in March 2011, plans to be completed before the end of 2014.
