ZHUHAI, Nov. 13 (People’s Daily Online)--China’s first business aircraft Primus 150 made debut in Zhuhai Manufacturing Base of China Aviation Industry General Aircraft Co., Ltd. (CAIGA), south China’s Guangdong province, on Nov. 12, 2012.
The six-seat single-engine turboprop is China’s first all composite airframe light aircraft, which caters to the need of private air services and business aircraft operators.
At the debut ceremony, CAIGA signed the cooperation agreement with world’s renowned engine provider GE and orders with well-known domestic companies for its first eight aircraft.
CAIGA is a subsidiary company of Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC), whose business covers transport aircraft, aviation research, trade and logistics, finance services, engineering planning and construction.
