The Yancheng missile frigate of the Navy of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) is a domestic-054A missile frigate. It is responsible for anti-submarine, attacking the enemy’s large and medium-sized surface ships, air defense, providing fire support for landing operations, maritime patrolling, guarding and escorting. It has the overall combat capability.
