A navel landing ship detachment under the South Sea Fleet of the Navy of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) is in training. The detachment is the pioneer forces that can carry out amphibious task, and also a troop capable of performing diverse military tasks. Since its formation less than 10 years ago, the detachment has deployed nearly 1,000 batches of warships, and the total sail voyage reaches 1 million sea miles.
