The far-sea training taskforce under the North Sea Fleet of the Navy of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) continued training in the waters of the West Pacific for far-sea training on May 28, 2013.
The naval taskforce departed from a military port in Qingdao of eastern China's Shandong province on the early morning of May 25. It is composed of the Qingdao guided missile destroyer, the Linyi guided missile frigate, and the Hongze Lake comprehensive supply ship, together with two ship-borne helicopters. This high-sea training is part of the routine military training of the North Sea Fleet in 2013.
