The PLA Hong Kong Garrison opened Shek Kong and Sun Wai Barracks to public on June 30, 2013 to celebrate the 16th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to China.
The activities included the national-flag-raising ceremony, military band performance, anti-terrorism assault, gun-holding group performance, and weaponry and equipment static display in the barracks during the opening day.
