The special operation members from various military area commands of the PLA participated in a comprehensive combat skills competition on July 18, 2013. The competition is to test their ability of integrated use of fitness and skills, and to improve their skills of using various weapons and equipment under various conditions.
The competition of land subjects of the Special Operation Force of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) was unveiled on July 16, 2013 at the Zhurihe Combined Tactics Training Base of the Beijing Military Area Command (MAC) of the PLA.
All the special operation members from all the military area commands, services and arms of the PLA competed in dozens of subjects in complex environments in seven days.
The competition is a routine military training that can advance actual-combat training, and it can comprehensively improve special operation forces' level of actual-combat training and actual-combat capability.
The military competition is a comprehensive competition consisting of land subjects and maritime subjects. The part of maritime subjects wrapped up in mid June.
