The Chinese Air Force's combat group participating in the "Peace Mission-2013" China-Russian joint anti-terrorism military drill carried out the first flight training after reaching the drilling region, Aug. 6, 2013.
Five JH-7A fighter-bombers respectively carried out flight training. This flight training aimed at familiarizing with the range and the airport environment.
The pilots visually reconnoitered, searched and recognized the established assault targets, and the Russian side assisted the Chinese commander in the control tower to command.
JH-7A fighter-bomber is a new generation of supersonic fighter-bomber developed by China. The Chinese Air Force's combat group arrived in the drilling area, with personnel and equipment in good condition. Before the first flight training, they conducted a number of planning, coordination with Russia.
In the days to come, they will carry out three flight trainings, and then participate in drill with actual arms in the implement phase of the joint military drill.
