KOTA KINABALU, August 23 (ChinaMil) -- The "Zheng He" ocean-going training ship of the Navy of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLAN) left Kota Kinabalu Port for China after a friendly visit to Malaysia at 10:00 on August 22, 2013. It will patrol China's Nansha islands and reefs on its way back according to the plan.
During its four-day-long visit to Malaysia, the officers and men of the "Zheng He" ship launched exchanges with the officers and men of the Malaysian Navy in various forms to enhance mutual understanding between the two militaries through meetings, visits, friendly matches and so on. Meanwhile, local overseas Chinese and Chinese nationals, overseas students as well as staff members of the China-funded institutions in Malaysia were invited to visit the "Zheng He" ship.
