China's military official meets Uzbekistan minister

Vice chairman of China's Central Military Commission Fan Changlong met with Uzbekistan Defense Minister Kabul Berdiev here on Sunday.

Fan said China is ready to work with Uzbekistan on the consensus reached by President Xi Jinping and President Islam Karimov to take friendly relations between the two armed forces to a new level.

Fan called for cooperation in various fields to maintain regional peace and stability. Fan said military cooperation between China and Uzbekistan is in the fundamental interests of both countries.

Berdiev said that Uzbekistan is ready for more practical cooperation with the Chinese military.
