Top military leaders of China and Yemen agreed here Monday to strengthen their military cooperation.
Xu Qiliang, vice chairman of China's Central Military Commission said strengthening military cooperation between China and Yemen will not only boost bilateral relations, but also contribute to regional and global peace and stability.
He told visiting Yemeni Defense Minister Muhammad Nasir Ahmad that China will work with the Yemenese side to lift bilateral military cooperation in various fields to a new level.
Muhammad said Yemen and China have enjoyed good cooperation in personnel training and other military areas.
He expressed the hope that the two armed forces shall increase their exchanges and expand their cooperation to new areas.
