Dongfeng Honda Automobile Co., a 50-50 joint venture between China's Dongfeng Motor Corporation and Japan's Honda Motor Company, recently announced to recall 76,415 CR-V vehicles produced in 2012 due to an improperly designed door lock on the driver's side.
According to sources, the recalled vehicles were produced between Jan. 17, 2012 and June 19, 2012. Dongfeng Honda expressed that they will change the defective door lock free of charge to eliminate a hidden risk of the door automatically unlocking.
