5.1-magnitude quake hits NW China province

BEIJING, Feb. 12 (Xinhua) -- A 5.1-magnitude quake jolted the west part of northwest China's Qinghai Province on Tuesday morning, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was monitored at 38.5 degrees north latitude and 92.4 degrees east longitude in Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, the center said.
