A Metro commuter disguising as a pregnant woman in order to get a seat felt ashamed when her fake belly dropped off in public view and she blamed the producer for the shoddy product.

The woman surnamed Zhang made a complaint to the market supervisor in Tongzhou District in Beijing, but officials rejected her complaint because she couldn't provide an invoice, today's Beijing Times reported.

As a daily commuter, Zhang dreaded the overcrowded trains and decided to dress like a pregnant woman to win sympathy and get a seat. She bought a silicon belly from an online seller and never expected it would break with daily squeeze.

Passengers around sneered at her when her trick fell through and she felt humiliated. Zhang failed to contact the seller when she got home and lodged a complaint to the market supervisor on Monday, the paper said.
