Yu Qigui, 44, is a teacher in a village school in Guilin, south China’s Guangxi. There are two classes with 23 students in the school. As the students live far away from the school, they have to spend long time on the rugged path to walk to the school. Yu, as the only teacher in the school, always carries an exhausted student with his back basket to school. So the villagers kindly call him “teacher with a back basket”.
