Every day, more than 20 pupils walk on a rugged path to Banpo primary school built on a mountain in Gengguan village, Guizhou, among many cliffs. The path that connects the village to the school was built on a mountain 40 years ago. Even with adverse circumstances, the results of the entrance examination of the students in this school have been on a top position for consecutive 13 years among other centers in Qixingguan district, and there is even one student from Banbo School who studies now in Nanjing University. Hardly any student misses a day of school. The youngest student is 6 years old and walks on the rugged path every day with other students.
