SHANGHAI, April 1 (Xinhua) -- Two men were sentenced to death by a court in Shanghai municipality on Monday for trafficking more than 30 kilograms of drugs.

The First Intermediate People's Court of Shanghai Municipality found Liang Guoyong and Shi Runqiang guilty of trafficking and selling, respectively, methamphetamine and ketamine between April and May in 2012.

Evidence showed that Liang supplied Shi with over 20 kilograms of methamphetamine and five kilograms of ketamine, consigned for shipment from Shenzhen to Shanghai on four separate occasions.

Police captured Liang on May 12 at his apartment in Shenzhen with over six kilograms of methamphetamine, while Shi was arrested in Shanghai on the same day, according to the court's statement.
