Coaches collide in NE China, casualties unknown

SHENYANG, May 21 (Xinhua) -- Two coaches collided in northeast China's Liaoning Province on Tuesday, injuring at least a dozen passengers while the death toll remains unknown, local authorities said.

The accident happened at around 3:30 p.m. on a national expressway near the city of Anshan, said an official from the city's publicity bureau.

Both vehicles had a designed capacity of more than 30 people.
