Youth is related to difference, freshness, freedom, vigor, appearance, independence, etc. Their unexpected behaviors always come with "surprise"; dress properly to go to work after spending the whole night to surf on Internet; play guitar in the subway after spending the whole summer to learn it. Pub is the place for releasing pressure and reunion, and is also the entertainment venue for youths to express themselves. Chen, a science student, goes to the pub on Friday or Saturday for relaxation. "I don't care if the beer is tasty, pub makes me more talkative, and that is enough." The pub is near his college. Some young music lovers get together for sharing and performing. "We have same hobbies, and similar ages, so I made friends here," Chen added.

Musical show starts at 8 or 9 p.m. and lasts for one and a half hours. Young people enjoy the show while talking or dancing with friends or people they just met. No one cares how much money is in your pocket or what the title is on your business card; they just want to have fun here.

"The spectators come here for fun and so do we," said bandsman Huang Yigua. “We earn less at pub than commercial show. But we can play the music that I want to play, and the party is crowded by your crazy fans.”
