About 10 employees of a fitness club ran in a busy street with only underwear on Wednesday in south China’s Foshan because they failed to meet the company’s sales target.

There were also asked to eat raw bitter gourd, to go begging on street or shave their heads as a punishment.

The employees said that they are ok to receive the punishment, because their boss used to suffer similar punishment and now he is a millionaire.

But lawyer disagreed, saying the company’s adoption of punishment should be based on respect for people’s rights.
