The first gay and lesbian forum was held in Taiyuan, capital city of north China’s Shanxi province. More than 10 homosexual people, their families and friends attended the forum and exchanged their views on homosexuality. Most of the parents said after the meeting that they understand their children’s sexual orientation and support their children’s choice in their daily life. They also hoped that more and more people will understand gay and lesbian and show no discrimination against homosexuals in society.
