Recently, the new students have started registering in universities. The huge crowd of university registers not only includes college freshmen, but also their parents. Some parents insist to accompany their children to share the joy of entering the university; some parents just want to ensure the safe arrival of their children at university. Many people think that parents accompanying the students to make registration in university will not be beneficial to children's independence and ability to solve problems.

Some universities have taken measures this year to "force" the fresh students to make registration independently. In Communication University of China, parents were not allowed to enter the registration area on Aug. 27, 2013. Registration works were carried out smoothly in the university. A teacher responsible for the registration work said that thanks to the measures, registration work went very well this year. Instead of taking two days to finish the whole work previously, it took only half a day this year. Su Zhiwu, president of Communication University of China said: "The attempt has great sense to improve the independence of the fresh students who were born after 1995. "
