Chinese top legislator meets Russian PM

BEIJING, Oct. 12 (Xinhua) -- Chinese top legislator Wu Bangguo met Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin Wednesday in Beijing who was here for a two-day official visit to China.

Putin also co-chaired the 16th regular meeting between the Chinese and Russian prime ministers with Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao.
