China offers consular service online

China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs officially opened a consular service website on Nov. 22, through which the ministry will provide overseas Chinese citizens and institutions with "one-stop" safety information and consular services in order to step up preventive consular protection.

Cs.mfa.gov.cn, the new service website, will collect and edit related domestic consular resources and important information provided by China's overseas diplomatic agencies and send overseas safety information to Chinese citizens and institutions across the world in a rapid and convenient manner.
