
Final debate focused on foreign policy, with China's rise being a major topic
The third and final debate of the 2012 U.S. presidential election took place in Boca Raton, Florida on the night of Oct. 22, during which Barack Obama and Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney wrangled with each other over such major topics as China’s rise.
Famous anchor moderates final debate
The last debate of this year's U.S. presidential election was held at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida, according to the Commission on Presidential Debates.
The 90-minute final presidential debate was focused on foreign policy, and moderated by famous CBS News anchor Bob Schieffer.
The final debate adopted a format similar to that of the first debate, and each segment was supposed to last 15 minutes. During each segment, Schieffer first raised a question, gave each candidate two minutes to answer the question, and then facilitated discussion between the two candidates in the remaining time.
