FREETOWN, July 5 (Xinhua) -- Sierra Leone's President Ernest Bai Koroma said here Friday his visit to China has strengthened the bilateral relationship between the two countries.

During his visit, the two countries signed a number of infrastructural and agricultural agreements. Koroma, who returned home this week, said the infrastructural agreements included a memorandum of understanding with the Kingho Energy Group for the development of a mine and port project.

Others covered the construction of a power plant, transport and logistics facility, and the construction of a 250-km railway.

"We committed both countries to increasing cooperation and mutual support in meeting the common aspirations of peace, development and reform of the United Nations and Sierra Leone's support for the one China policy," Koroma told the media.
