BEIJING, Aug. 23 -- Chinese top political advisor Yu Zhengsheng met Friday afternoon with Argentine Vice President Amado Boudou.
Yu, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), said China and Argentina have great potential for cooperation.
He said the Chinese side is ready to work with Argentina to deepen practical cooperation so as to bring benefits to the two peoples.
Boudou, also president of the senate, expressed willingness to enhance strategic mutual trust and mutually beneficial cooperation with China. He hopes that the two sides will increase people-to-people contact and jointly advance the strategic partnership.
Yu said the CPPCC National Committee is ready to strengthen friendly contact with the Argentine Congress by carrying out exchanges on the experience of governing a country. He hopes that the two sides will play an active role in advancing the China-Argentina strategic partnership in a comprehensive and in-depth way.
