Djibouti President Ismail Omar Guelleh on Sunday sent a message of goodwill to his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping to mark the 64th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.
"On this day as you mark your country's national day, I am pleased to send to you my warmest regards and wishes for good health and happiness. I would also wish all the citizens of the People's Republic of China success and prosperity," Guelleh said in the message on the eve of China's National Day, which falls on Oct. 1.
Reiterating his willingness to promote the cooperation between the two countries, Guelleh said he was convinced the relations between China and Djibouti will keep growing in future.
Thanks to the innovative concept of "win-win partnership," China and Africa have already established a harmonious development path for the benefits of their respective populations, the president said.
