Top 10 deadliest ferry accidents in history

A South Korean passenger ship with 462 people aboard, most of whom being high school students, sank in water off of South Korean’s southwest coast on the morning of April 16, leaving 104 people dead and 198 other missing, as of Tuesday morning.

Either passenger ship or cargo ship faces risks when sailing in the sea. Ship accidents were usually caused by crash, fire and typhoon. Following are the deadliest ship accidents in history.
