The Joint Agency refers to the Joint Administrative Agency for the Southern Hebei, Taihang and Taiyue Areas, established on August 1, 1940. It was the supreme organ of political power in the Shanxi-Hebei-Henan Border and assumed the responsibility of legislation for the base areas in the border area. It was dissolved when the government of the Shanxi-Hebei-Shandong-Henan Border Area was established in August 1941.
