National salvation association conducted political, military and cultural activities among the anti-Japanese army and people in Shanxi, Hebei, Henan and other places at the beginning of the anti-Japanese war. The name for the individual associations varied in different areas and departments. In Shanxi it was usually called the National Revolution Association and in other places it was called the National Salvation Association.
