The Guangxi clique refers to local warlords in Guangxi headed by Li Zongren and Bai Chongxi. After 1938, Li Zongren, Liao Lei and Li Pinxian, generals of the Guangxi clique, served successively as the Kuomintang governor of Anhui Province.
