Zhang Yun (1905- ), a native of Changsha, Hunan Province, joined the Communist Party of China in 1925. She was elected Deputy Secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection at the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee in December 1978 and member of the Central Advisory Commission at the Twelfth National Party Congress in September 1982. In the first half of that year she had handled financial disputes in Shanghai, Fujian and other places on behalf of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.
