Sci-Tech International Seminar On Ancient Ceramics Held In Shanghai

An international seminar on ancient ceramics opened today in Shanghai and will run through November 4.

Nearly 100 Chinese and overseas experts and scholars are meeting to discuss the technology and skills used in ancient China for making pottery and porcelain, in a bid to promote the use of ancient skills in the modern-day ceramic industry.

Participants come from China, India, the Republic of Korea, Russia, Singapore, Thailand, Britain, the United States, and Vietnam.

This event is expected to help increase cooperation and exchange among scholars and scientists from various countries.
